"Data Field" is an electronic jewelry object, which utilizes 2 twisted-nematic liquid crystal displays (LCDs) for its output device. The LCDs are stacked: one has nested circular image elements and the other has a grid of squares. Wherever two activated elements overlap, a negative image is formed, thus creating quite complex graphics as the various image elements are addressed randomly.
