"Ear Domes" are a pair of ear ornaments incorporating sound generators and miniature speakers. The frequency of the sound is controlled by the intensity of the light falling on the photocell- very bright light will cause the pitch to go ultrasonic. Since our ears rarely experience the same amount of light, there are usually two tones present and the wearer's brain will synthesize harmonics.
